Hear What Parents Have To Say...
All the staff clearly know the kids well and care for them like they are all a part of a big family. The communication is excellent even when we all have to take extra precautions and distance in the pandemic. We trust that she is safe and happy and thriving in her care - we get regular updates through the app!

I love them so much that they were one of the first people I told when I was pregnant with my second child as I couldn't imagine sending my kids anywhere else. I could never thank them enough for the care they provide my boys and I won't know what to do when my kids are old enough for school and leave them.

Our son has gained so many skills, social and academic. We enjoy the app they use to relay day to day for our kiddo - from what he’s eating, his mood, and pictures! The owners are responsive to our sons needs and ours as parents. Our son is excited everyday we drop him off and it’s a breath of fresh air.

I'm very pleased with the environment they provide for children. She is infinitely happier and thrives in big group dynamics, which they provide. The communication is excellent between you, the director and the teacher, regardless of COVID 19. I also really applaud their efforts of teaching. Highly recommend this school!

My son was at a previous day care, and he would come home with bite marks on his arms, and scratches on his face, and it seemed like nothing was being done about it. I feel I don't have to worry about this now. They post what they do during the day and have a real good schedule with a healthy lunch they serve.

With a kind environment and great core values, Pettengill Academy has been a rewarding place to work. When there are issues, management promptly addresses it in a professional yet straightforward manner. Seeing the faces of the bright and wonderful children makes each day one to look forward to.

It’s a nice positive professional facility. In terms of growth and development; My kids came home different in a positive outlook their first day. Their Hi Mamma app keeps you up to date throughout the day and can be used to communicate with staff. I feel my girls are in good hands here and they constantly keep progressing.

I enrolled my daughter into Pettengill Academy two months ago! They even let me bring her in three days early for a few hours to get a feel for it before I had to go back to work, which was very comforting to me. The app also lets me speak to the teachers working with my daughter directly and they're always quick to respond!

My husband and I are teachers in the Lewiston community, and we are very selective with the adults we trust to care for our children. Pettengill Academy has been our regular daycare for over three years now, and we are so happy with our experience. We are so happy to be part of the PA family. 🙂

My daughter has been going here since she was 10 weeks old and I can’t recommend them enough! She has so much fun, loves all the teachers and can’t wait to go each day. They also hardly ever close for weather, which makes it so much easier in the winter when you work for a company that hardly ever closes for weather.
